Ajay It is partition of Indian based on cast again.
There is no place for upper cast in all places.
The bloody politicians are hungry for their votes & chairs.
If reservations goes like this then Internationally India cannot compet with other nation.
Don't know what is future for upperclass people in India especially economically backward.

ANIL KUMAR Please send my message to the PM,Sonia and Mandal-II Singh(Arjun Singh) and politicians, especially left parties( Who makes the people fool and thinks indian people are greatest fool) that now they should bring bill for reservation of this kinds in the parliament for the MP and MLA seats right now in the monsoon session. Then only equality among the indian society can be prevailed, as the politicians are telling about equal status to every citizen of india.

Shame on the politicians of india.

abhishek This is how they try to get more votes and support for their parties:
"Actually, he had a meeting in which OBC leaders were called to convince them that this would give them the desired advantage."---Arjun Singh

Arjun singh and as he quoted "The Parliment who made the decision" have no idea about the facts and have made a decision just to increase their votes. No statistics were considered. And whe asked about why the seats were still empty. He says there are other reasons for that. So Why doesnt the government first try to overcome those other reasons and then do more statistics to see the benefits and then make some decision.

The whole parliment should be brought for a one on one talk with the students. They have power does not mean they can do anything they want.

Sandeep They need to explain the rationale for reservation. Government ought to be more responsive and forthcoming in this. They need to tell me and you and OBC and SC and ST for why it is needed. I do thik we need reservation but, government should explain to me the advantages to OBC. They should explain me that why parents of 80% SC/ST students in my college under reservation are earning more than my parents and they need the reservation more than me.

I DEMAND THIS EXPLANATION FROM Dr. MANMOHAN SINGH.

Sakshi Atleast now they wont accuse us of contributing to brain drain..we engineers, and other professionals have every reason to leave this "modern" society.
I'm 20 and have never voted. I will definately exercise this right now. But my hopes aren't too high, considering they all want the upliftment of my "poor, unfortunate brothers and sisters", as said by a Chennai based politician.

Nelson Dias It seems that the Parliament of this country is so Ignorant about the people views that they dont need to justify the questions raised by the common people. Its time we need some good politicans.

Sharat Babu Our HRD minister seems tobe really very old. They must fisrt pass a resolution / ammendment for reducing the upper age limit as MP / MLA.

I am proud to be INDIAN, untill Politices became politices and reservation.

Arun Banerjea Thapper is rather abrasive without adequatey touching on the real issue, that reservation policy is driving country towards a a national disaster. Something like this happened before Independance. Reservation for the Muslims resulted in partition of the country. Moreover, reservation will result in dilution of the quality, particularly increase in the number of seats paticularly for the OBC's.
Money should be spent more effectively by granting scholarships more generously to the reserved categories. Reservations should be dispensed with in all other respects.
