HRD Minister has no more concern about people of india. He just want to be top in his position and congress leader. He said india is not a modern society?? What does he mean? Where r we? Why are we degrading ourself? I never thought my country will be like this.

I Just want to say that our Government Sucks and they are just ruining the Career of the Next Generation by putting the Reservation as 50%. I just want to say that the reservation must be for the people who are very poor and cannot afford the education not on the basis of Caste.

Good statistics and Case provided by Karan. I can't believe arjun singh agreed for this interview with all these shameless answers. Beyond doubt all the indians should understand that the decision of Govt. to impose further reservation is just for VOTE BANK POLITICS. Hell with it. Overthrow this Govt.

This is the last straw on the camel's back. Can we allow these backward-thinking political parties to think forward and decide our collective future anymore?
The verdict is now clear - We need a political alternative to BJP and Congress. A humanitarian party that works on moral principles, rather than opportunism!

Was it a gag on THE GREAT INDIAN COMEDY SHOW ? Our very own HRD minister "THE KILLER ARJUN " seems to be too uneducated about the facts and figures about qoutas and for the OBC'S he is "FIGHTING FOR". It was among the greatest (funniest) interview i've seen. Kudos to u KARAN THAPAR. Grt goin...........

Mr Arjun Singh makes it clear that he wants to save his seat by simplly following Parliament's decision. He does not know why parliament made such a decision.... He does not know, being the HRD minister, he is responsible for the decision and answerable to the people. By saying that it was a decision of parliament he also gives a hint that he is not for the reservations and just to save his seat he is accepting the decisions made by others around him. He does not know why reservations have to be made other than that parliament has taken the decision .
It is also clear that the basic aim of uplifting the poor or backward is lost. It is also clear that no attempt has been made to explore alternative solutions ( practically working solutions).

Had the government known that reservation is the right thing to do, he surely would have substantiated his stupid arguments with figures. Can we please ask for figures to support his fundas ??
There is some other mastermind behind him and just looking out for votes. They've still not understood that Indians have a rebuttal to everything. We certainly need younger people in our politics who wold know what to do for the next generation. I hope Mr. Arjun Singh knows that he's just adding another reason for accelerating brain drain from the country.

First bring reservations in to politics and parliament. And i want 50% of parliament seats to be for OBC's,then we too will agree the same for college seats also, but both these agreements should come at a time. However its clear that any party here onwards involving in these activities will not get a single vote from the majority of india ie OC's, now sure congress is already lost for next elections, and arjun will not even get a deposit.

This is a classic HRD minister doesn’t know a shit about this country nor the people for whom he is taking decisions, he is a disgrace.
It is very de-motivating for the citizens of this country. One thing that every one should understand that irrespective of the Political Party, everyone is interested in the votes.
One way the government can set an example is by doing what is right for the people and the country and not themselves. They must look at the broader picture that their dissidents will have to suffer because of the wrong decisions taken now.
