As the debate over the reservations for the OBCs divides the country, Karan Thapar asks Human Resource Development Arjun Singh - What are the government's real intentions? Read The Article
This interview clearly shows that there is NO genuine reason to introduce this quota and it is ONLY just to gain the votes from the OBC community who are actually not benefitted out of it. The facts and figures presented clearly states this and there is no dispute in that. In short... this is a fantastic interview where the interviewer could get the illicit ideas of the HRD minister.

i belongs to a political party. but i must say all politicians are the baggers of votes. No one is there in parliament to speak about us( non sc/st/obc)?Accually now we are in minority. These reserve people will rull us?We all should come out against reservation.

This was really funny. Our own HRD minister does not even know what he is there for. He does not even trust his own office, which generates volumes of data for him to look at. This is out of jelousy or what ever else, I wonder why and for what good reason is he sitting in that plush office of the HRD. He doesn't desereve to be there.
GOD HELP OUR COUNTRY FROM THE CLUTCHES OF SUCH SHORT SIGHTED MANIACS!

Our HRD minister is totally a dumb & foolish fellow who doesnt have any idea of what % of OBCs form total population & other important figures. So its clear that this is just the politics of vote only & nothing else. I am really disappointed with this decision & it will be a major break on India's economic & overall growth. The confidence that today we can see in indian youth of believing in India will be hurted by these kind of foolish decisions. Its also very disappointing that due to this, intelligent brains of india who are heading india's growth have to waste their time on opposing such issues instead of doing some worthwhile things.

hi, i am partha sarathi ray .i will tell a story to u. I am brabhmin guy but i dont care about any caste and thats why i have my best friend whose name is biman madol who is s.c guy.He and me has a great friendship between us. I think no caste can divide us. But when we passed our higher secondary exam and goes to college we found caste are separating us. He was admited in botany (h) very easily with 45% marks becouse he had his s.c quota but i can't with 53% marks becouse i am brabhmin. His father is a coulige of my father and earn same money like my father. But this thing cant' divide us we r stil very good friend. After that when we goes to give a competetive exam in P.S.C(public service comission) i find a nother thing that i have to pay a 100 Rs I.P.O(indian postal order) as general candidate . But for him that I.P.O didn't need becouse he has his S.C quota . Do u think that is social justice or equality ? plz replay me in my mail addrees matrix_ray2002@yahoo.co.in

Partha,
I totally agree with you. I live in a society where people of all caste live together with harmony. I cannot recall a single incident when any member of our society insulted or oppressed others on basis of cast and religion. We dont even care what cast our neighbours belong to. And now the hopeless UPA government want to change all that for its own selfish motives. Mr Arjun Singh may you fry in hell forever!

Hello All. Never expected this to come oout in such fashion. Our respected leaders are unaware of the statistics and already in implementation mode.
I respect his opinion, if he has any. The whole interview was Karan landing up asking same question rephrased atleast four times.
Amazing is to note that our economy is still flourishing and GDP going all up. I strongly feel, let them do whatever is right according to them. We should focus on our Karma. Go India, Go.

sonia i cant find any reason to respect our leaders.u sayd go india go.i tottaly agree with this. india should progress.but how about that poor people of so called upper caste. a brabhmin(upper caste) boy whose father earn 1000 rs or less in a month what about him he doesn't deserve a reservation? and a s.c,s.t, or obc guy whose father earn 5000rs or < is he deserve reservation?
