It is very unfortunate that we have the parliament and minister like this. See how rediculous it is that our minister is unable to tell that what is the rational behind his decision of reservations. He do not have idea of Data.I would like to ask to Mr.Minister why do they spent the hard earned money of common pepole on Organizations like NSSO or exercises like Census when they do not make use of it in making any policy decesion. It is very unfortunate that our minister is making phony statemnts.I would like to make a sincere request to all my country-men that they must create an enviornment so that this type of exercise of decesion making can be discouraged.

I am a doctor and will not give up till a logical decision is taken.I will loose respect for myself if I give up the struggle. Will somebody tell Mr.Arjun Singh that there is not one live but many lives and for what he has done he will keep on payin forever when many lifetimes also will fall several times short to undo what he has done.

This is remanent of the British policy of Divide and rule, which has successfully divided the country in to pro and anti-reservation lobbyist. We, the citizens of India, will have to take the matters in our hands and teach these so called leaders of ours a good lesson that they dare not forget.

reservations for OBCs / STs is not the way to bring them up. Reservatiosn will help only a few of the class who are staying towns and cities leaving the majority of the OBCs / STs residing in the villages without the benefits. anyway reservations in no way are going to increase the mental / intellectual capacity of the OBCs / ST candidate unless he has been groomed in the right way since early child hood. Everyone should oppose reservations of any sort in any category for a better india of the future....Already we have many incompetent persons accupying very important positions in the government which everybody knows. A mass movement shud be started to rectify the wrong for a better tommorrow for our children...

The content of the interview itself shows that the minister is unaware of the ground realities. There certainly exist better ways of governing a country catering to one-sixth of humanity. I fully support the agitation by the Doctors, india's best brains. Infact, the silence maintained by the PM on the issue is most disheartening. It asks for complete lack of respect for the PM and his team working for madam. As a former student of FMS Delhi i whole heartedly support the doctors and condemn any reservation sans justification.

I am not at all in assent with Mr. Arjunsingh. He didnt have even proper answer of Mr. Karan thapar's questions being a responsible person. He doesn't even know what percentage of OBC exist in India. He is noway eligible to remain on the post he is assigned. Lets reunite this time and make UPA government think again over the desicison they have made foe reservations. And lets make sure that in the next elections UPA government is thrashed out.

As far as i can understand the whole thing it is only politics for vote...and its not only the government that has failed but also the opposition.they are ready to oppose any other decision taken by the govt but arent saying anything in this matter because whatever they say they will lose their vote banks...who loses in this battle of votes?none other than the 'common man'... i would like to request the indian population on the whole to please be united as indians and do not be divided on basis of castes as it will once again lead to divide and rule being successful...after all nobody is saying that obc do not have rights.its just that please do not divide india again...YOUTH FOR EQUALITY

Iam totally against the decision taken by Arjun Singh, He is a stupid old man doesnot know what he is doing and how it will effect the lives of youth of india. For the last so many years reservation is there but it has not helped any one, it hasn't brought any social upliftment. I seriously condemn arjun singh decision and prey god to give him some sense.

It is really sad that the country is headed this way. With this attitude, congress is about to reverse the growth path that India had currently been into. It will only increase th ebrain drain and india will left with still lower quality people than it currently has.
