The interview reassures me that we are in a democracy; All contradictions, populism, true colours shall get exposed. It is time we increase the share of accountability in our Democractic receipe!! Many questions are unanswered!!! May many indians read this article and start their thinking process. Great job Karan,

I tiring to hear and go thro. the world of jumbling words. Honstely answer, will these people who are for quto, go and consult a b or c grade doctors & hospitals??, will these people go and consult with b & c grade engineers??,.. as a humen i always want a trust worthy & best doctor, engineer etc.. which cannot be produced by the quto system. Am not against with the communinty ,.. (i belong to a MBC)i never had any benifit till now on this. If we realy look for fixing the problem, we need to analys where the problem is??,. a community not able to aford & come up to the expectation of education, provide them the necessities like basic infrastruture hostel, no fees or less fees to be collected NOT at the college level,. IT SHOULD BE AT THE BEGINING OF THE STUDIES LIKE FROM PRE-SCHOOL ITSELF.. THINK ABOUT IT!!,.. IF YOU NEED QUALITY OF LIFE AND GOOD ECONOMY,. THEN WE SHOULD DEVELOP QUALITY PEOPLE ,.. PROVIDE THE BASICS WHO NEEDS IT..

This is probably one of the most slippery responses I've ever seen!It only reinforces our belief further that the quota is a thoughtless, no-brainer of a decision on the part of the Parliament. If nothing the govt atleast owes an explanation to the citizens with reasons justifying the move.

Karan has quoted figures which Arjun Singh can't refute, but can only CLAIM to ignore... I wonder why did we place our coutry's future into such incompetent hands n minds of leaders like AS

We know what kind of leaders are ruuning our country and our future. Instead of lamenting we should take some action. All the colleges in India, all the educated people studying, working, all engineers, doctors, professionals in India, should protest against this decision. We have to support the students of today, because in the long run all of us (non-OBCs) will be afftected by this sometime of or the other.
Lets think about some plan to join hands with the prtesting students and stand with them. If all of us join together definetly something can be done. But if we just keep talking, nothing will happen.

Hi Karan
The interview was really good. We all know the corruption level in India, I think these people want to increase the Quota for OBC so that the government officials can make more money. In india anybody can get fake OBC certificates easily, moreover the empty reserved seats are sold for huge amount to the desired candidates. So finally this is all about making money. Please convey this message to Our President Dr. Abdul Kalam "If you want India to be a modern and developed country remove this concept of reservation against caste for heaven's sake". The way ministers are putting the concept of reservation, if the open category doctors and engineers start treating their patients and clients in the category of Back Ward & Upper Class where is the brotherhood then? A open class doctor will never treat a Back ward class patient, ths will take us back to the age where the English had rules us because of our approaches towards different communities. Today in India there is not much Caste differentiation, so please let every citizen become an Indian not a Upper Caste or a Lower Caste person"
Thanks Karan

Excellent interview. This shows how well qualified the diplomats are in diplomacy. Are we also talking about having reservations in giving gradings and marks allotment too in colleges and educational societies ?
