New Delhi: For northern India, the cold promises to intensify in forthcoming days.

The cold wave is making itself felt all across north India and icy winds blowing in from Himachal Pradesh have brought in an extra chill.

Delhi recorded a low of 4.4 degrees Celsius on Monday morning, making it the coldest day this year.

The chill does not promise to abate with humidity as high as 88%.

However, the Met Department has predicted clear skies, so air traffic may not experience any trouble.
