New Delhi: The indefinite strike called by doctors at the Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan hospital in New Delhi has entered its third day. Angry doctors are on strike there demanding greater security on the premises.

This after family members of a patient attacked doctors on duty with beer bottles and knives, protesting medical negligence.

All emergency and OPD facilities stand suspended, leaving a stream of patients unattended. For the patients at the LNJP hospital, it's a long ordeal waiting indefinitely for treatment, as the doctor's strike enters its third day.
