New Delhi: In another case of road rage in the Capital, the wife of a doctor was brutally assaulted by an minibus driver in East Delhi's Mayur Vihar area on Wednesday.
The doctor, Dr Abid Khan with his wife, Roshan Jahan and son Hamid were driving when the minibus, coming down the wrong way, blocked their way.
When Khan objected, they hit his wife on the head with an iron rod and also assaulted the doctor and his four-year-old son.
“We were going to drop our son and an RTV was coming from the wrong direction. We confronted him, he got angry and hit me with an iron rod,” said Roshan Jahan.
She has been admitted to hospital. The police has arrested the driver of the minibus.
