In the early hours of Saturday, the teenager allegedly drunk, drove his Tata Safari on to a pavement in Lucknow, ramming a small tea shop.

There was just a minor dent in the car, however, for the shop-owner, Shanti Devi, it was a tragedy in which she lost her son and two relatives.

“Who will help us now? I will commit suicide before chief minister Mayawati,” says Shanti Devi.

"No red light can be used by a private person,” says IG-zone, Lucknow, AK Jain.
