The Best way to overcome this situation is Cost cutting 20 % of Salary of the IIT's as anyways those are uncessary highly paid facutly (Vidhay Daan Shrest Daan) concept is gone in today's world , We indians are know for our culture and we don't follow that.
2. Step charge 30 % Education Based employment fee for the Candidate who get selected from this kind of insitutes to the company hiring them and 10% Job Recuitment Fee for 3 to 5 consecutive year to the Student who gets employeed in MNC.
If somone from IBM in Reading this there are many great solutions that can be put to effective without anyone getting having a hole in a pocket and still giving quality education .

Only when HRD ministry will get rid of Quota politics, can it think of releasing grant to the institutes which have made a name for themselves for quality education rather than quota reservation

In 2005 I went to one of the IITs. I told them I want to give some donation etc or establish some endowment fund, they told me "iits are loaded with money; they donot need your money" !

This is the Government's way of keeping their control on the institution.
Keep the institution wanting at all times -- the institutions then have no choice but to keep asking for more and be dependent on the government.
The Left government in West Bengal , keep the poor wanting , so that small crumbs the government dishes out periodically seems like continous help !! The poor people are kept wanting and the government rules ( i think it should be govern ! ) for decades .

A wonderful Government which has moeny to subsidise religious tours of one community at the taxpayers' money of another community and at the same time boast of starting new IITs and IIMs without capable of allowing the existing ones to survive and carry on their activities for which established. One cannot expect a better response from a Government who supports free colour TVs and starting TV channels within 60 days with 300 movies readsy for telecast and those who organise Youth Conferences spending crores of rupees.

Why fund them? Finally they will be flying to US or UK. Let us concentrate as a nation on the education of Priyanka Gandhi's kids

When IIT's are on the verge of bankrupt, the HRD minister does not seem to release funds for their daily operations but is ready to increase quotas and seats which amount to Rs2112cr. why is he so wildish about his next ellections seat? why does he and the goverment doesn't even do something for younger generation? atleast take care of the minimum things like education for the present students but are concerned about students who are not studying. i think todays debate should be with HRD minister or atleat Karan Thapars show with hrd minister. cant MNC's lend a hand for IIT's where in countires like US, universities get funds from Industries.
