New Delhi: Charles Sobhraj also known as the ‘bikini-killer’ is back in news for a surprising love affair with his interpreter Nihita Bishwas, who is 44 years younger to him.

In an exclusive interview to CNN-IBN, Nihita says that she is a victim to his charms. However, at the same time, she defends Charles and calls him a good man.

Asked about what her impression of Sobhraj was, she says, "There is no evidence against him. There were just rumours. But I didn't believe in them and evaluated him myself. He's a good man."

She says that it was love at first sight for her. Smitten by the man, she says that age does not matter to her. "He's an intelligent, creative and caring man. What else does a woman want,” asks Nihita.

Nihita tells CNN-IBN that at first her family was apprehensive but that changed after they met him.

She says that Charles wanted to marry her first in a traditional ceremony in Nepal but after all the controversy raked up by the media she thinks they will marry under French law in Paris.

On being asked about reports of Sobharaj using women for his benefit she says, "It is not his fault that he is such a charming man. Those women weren't right for him. He was waiting for someone like me,” says Nihita.
