Mumbai: The audio launch of Sanai Chaughade saw filmmaker Farah Khan reciting lines in Marathi, all for good friend Shreyas Talpade's debut venture in the vernacular language.
The Om Shanti Om director showed up at the glitzy audio launch of Sanai Chaughade at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai. Co-produced by Mukta Arts and Talpade's Affluence Movies, this flick hopes to give Marathi cinema a definite makeover.
Shreyas Talpade says, "We have tried to give a technically competing film which people like to see these days. They like Hindi films which are nice and glossy. We have kept this film like that."
Adds Farah Khan, "The film is looking very cool and hip, very unlike a Marathi film. This one is very rich and modern."
With its contemporary theme, one hopes Sanai Chaughade clicks with film buffs at the box-office when it hits theatres on June 30.
