Sureshkumar	It is very sad to see how insensitive the govt is on such a major issue. Many of us have forgotten what is the latest on this issue. I remember that the Indian govt filed a petition in the US Court and Union Carbide was directed by the courts to settle a compensation to the victims. What has happened after that. Was the money received by the Indian govt ? what are they doing with that money ? Did they distribute it to all the victims ? What are the issues still pending ? Hope CNN-IBN can run a full story on this and highlight the unresolved issues. vikram	What a pathetic situation. Inspite of winning the court case, the government has not compensated the victims. Suhas	CNN IBN has placed a very good story. However, from the story, it is not clear what are the demands of the victims and how many of them are fulfilled. CAn CNn IBN summerise the list of demands and summerise the implimentation status of same? I think summerisation of such facts can help people reading the story come to the conclusion whether the mechanism is working effectively or not. Every now and then the story of flight of the victims is published and then nothing. Why cant CNN IBN take this as a mission to complete, track the status till last victim is satisfyed?
