this country is all ram bharose.voters vote for electing the representatives rambharose and the representatives so chosen also run the country rambharose.in the 21st century we are not tackling an issue by scientific questioning but by beliefs based on the primivial times, without asking for serious questions based upon techno- economic feasibility for the project you want to undertake or forsake just so that it does not offend somebody's perceived ideas of religion. this is a surefire way to taking this country to backwardness intellectually as well depriving of the material prosperity to which every citizen of this country is entitled to.

I don't support stopping the project for religious reasons, but I think the court is asking a totally wrong question! Amarnath cave, Mount Sinai, Mount Kailas, Ganga-Yamuna Sangam, etc. are all completely natural geological formations with tremendous religious value. What is this "whether-it-is-a-monument" crap about?

The Archaelogical Society of India and the Govt of India can take their own sweet time to respond to the Supreme Court's advice ! Sonia ji's priority is to buy votes in the ensuing Elections and capture Power once again so as to crown Rahul as the Prime Minister .. all other things can wait inclg Ram Sethu Project. The only person "affected" could be the Minister T R Baalu but he won't now make a huge noise, as he's caught up with so many scams that it's easier for the PM to ease him out of the office ..

It is obvious that the current bridge is NOT Ram Setu.
It is written that the stones used for Ram setu would not submerge as the word "Ram" was inscribed over them. Whoever calls this bridge Ram setu is insulting Ram.
The current bridge is under water hence submerged. Therefore this cannot be the Ram Setu.
I guess this proof should be go(o)d enough to continue the chanel work. whether the channel is economic or not is a different question.

If supreme court is so intent on respecting excavation findings, why did it not do so in case of Ayodhya temple (erstwhile Babri) excavation? All the credible archeologists have confirmed that there was a temple on the site of Babri but why are they ignored by our secular Supreme court and govt?
Why are hindus asked to provide evidence for everything?
Why don't you question the historicity of Jesus? Why is that Jesus's story is so similar to Krishna and Buddha? Pl. watch "Hidden life of Jesus" documentary produced by American historian.
Can anyone prove that Mohammad ascended to heaven on a back of a HORSE from the spot where Al-Aqsa mosque stands today in Jerusalem?

Well since everybody is in a scramble to gain political mileage through Ram Sethu, Mr.Karunanidhi could use some smart thinking. 1.Device a plan to fully throw open Ram Sethu as a religious tourist attraction. Maybe build a huge high bridge on this side of the Ram Sethu along its side and then construct a monument or something in the middle (like you have of Thiruvalluvar in Kanyakumari) 2. Now that people are happy and on your side for championing their religious cause you can have a sea route under the Bridge along some route which minimizes ecological destruction and prevents any future Tsunamis to wipe out everything. You can even say you are doing this to improve tourism and show some projected revenue figures for your state. Just think Mr.Karunanidhi, you can you can have the cake and eat it too. Unless this whole fiasco is another of your gimmicks to undermine Hinduism and Lord Rama.

Supreme court is intefering with faith issue of the Hindus. No court in the world has the right to test the faith. SC should know its limitations.

Now we shall see what the congress government at the centre does. Will they support their coalition partner DMK or will they side with the Hindu majority (who already are very upset with all the minority benefit schemes) of the country keeping in mind that general elections are to be held next year. This is going to be a really tough one for the gandhi family that believes in please all politics.

Its not practical to investigate whether the Bridge was built by Ram. It is a belief that is deep rooted in Hindus. There is no proof for Mohammed / Jesus or any other god. Only faith & belief. Karunanidhi and his goondas want to demolish the bridge just for the sake of few hundred votes and to paint themselves as "Secular". Even if the Supreme Court of India order to demolish the bridge, the truth cannot be demolished. In Ramayan, Rama himself demolished the bridge by firing arrows not to allow any asuras to use the path. Now, the kaliyuga asuras are playing with that. Go on Supreme Court. Go on and demolish. Truth never fades.
