Hyderabad: After investigations into the twin blasts in Hyderabad, intelligence sources in the state are indicating towards the involvement of a foreign terrorist group with Bangaladesh- based HUJI seen as a prime suspect.

This unexploded bomb recovered from Hyderabad theatre minutes after the deadly blasts at Lumbini Park and Gokul Chat Bhandar held the key for investigators.

Sources say this is similar to the deadly bombs that killed more than 40 people on Saturday. Its unique shape, the use of neo gel 90 and ball bearings to maximise casualties all put together to create a powerful impact.

Investigators say that the impact was not just to kill people but also send a political message by choosing Lumbini Park opposite the state secretariat.

"It appears that they wanted to create a feeling that they can blast anywhere, of course they cannot enter secretariat,” says Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Zone, N.Md.Iqbal.

While several terrorist organisations from the HUJI to the Lashkar and Jaish- have been named suspects in Hyderabad, police, two days into their investigations have yet to even detain a single person.

Police authorities say that they can solve the case within next few days. From accusing Huji to JeM and now casting suspicion on Al-Qaeda, the police claims to have made fast breakthroughs. They will have to work on their pace in order to fulfill their commitment.
