Mumbai: Johnny Gaddar may have failed at the box office but almost a year after the movie’s release its lead actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is high on popularity ratings.

Neil has bagged films with the likes of Sudhir Mishra and Madhur Bhandarkar and he is singing too. Neil, grandson of legendary singer Mukesh, will be singing in his forthcoming film Freeze. Would singing have been an option if he hadn't made it as an actor?

"If I wasn’t an actor I would be still climbing the ropes of direction. Singing is in my blood—I play the piano, I compose, I sing but singing is not a hobby. I would say singing for is close to godliness for me," he says.
