New Delhi: Police have released three more sketches of people who are the faces of terror behind the blasts that ripped through the busiest markets of Jaipur on Tuesday.
All three are between the ages of 18 and 25. Two of them are of average height and athletic built, while the third is tall.
A Police Spokesman told news agencies that while two youths were 5 feet to
5 feet 2 inches in height, the third one — aged between 20 to 25 years — is said to be 5 feet 10 inches tall.
All three have a wheatish complexion and all three are not residents of Rajasthan.
The sketches are in addition to the first sketch released on Wednesday. All the sketches have been made on the basis of the description given by the owner and assistants of the shop from which the cycles used in the serial blasts were bought. The state government has set up four-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the leadership of senior IPS Laxman Meena to probe the serial blasts.
Meanwhile, police have launched a search for the owner of a Gypsy — with a Delhi registration number — that has been parked outside the Government Railway Police (GRP) station for past six days. Visiting cards of a man named Afzal from Lucknow were found in the abandoned Gypsy.
Top police officers have confirmed that RDX and ammonium nitrate were used in the blasts — a deadly cocktail. Despite all the leads, authorities are still groping for an answer to the most crucial question: Who is behind the blasts?
And though police officials have refused to commit themselves to anything, Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhra Raje said on Tuesday — soon after the blasts rocked the Pink City — that an international hand was behind the blasts.
Initial investigations point towards the involvement of Bangladesh-based Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami (HuJI).
