New Delhi: Hollywood stars don’t need a reason to turn out in designer outfits, but they did this for a cause.
Hollywood's A-listers turned out in their designer best for the annual Benefit Gala of the Metropolitan Museum in New York on Monday to mark the museum's ‘Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy’ exhibition.
The very exclusive event was co-chaired by Editor-in-chief, Vogue Anna Wintour, George Clooney and Julia Roberts who sported a Giorgio Armani design.
But the Pretty Woman was looking too delicious. Clooney on the other hand celebrated his birthday eve on Monday. So how old is he now?
"You know what, I am actually only 35, but I have the kidney of a 78-year-old,” said Clooney.
The star-studded evening also saw now best friends, The Beckhams and the Cruises.
But Katie seemed to have mismatched her blue shoes with her orange gown. Or was that a fashion statement?
Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Brazilian bombshell Gisele Bundchen, waif thin Kate Moss and German supermodel Claudia Schiffer obliged the paparazzi with their 1000 watt smiles.
But Scarlett Johannson got everyone's attention by simply flashing her engagement ring from now fiancé Ryan Reynolds.
Talking about engagements and weddings, Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker got nostalgic.
"Fabulous. I feel like my wedding day all over again. That is how glamorous I feel right now,” said Longoria.
While the sporting community was represented by Venus Williams, singers Fergie and Beyonce were there from the music fraternity.
The Superheroes exhibition that showcases costumes of Superman, Batman and the other key Superheroes is on till September 1 in New York.
