sanjay patole Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel's announcement of keeping the old Bangalore and Hyderabad airports open for general aviation use does not serve the purpose. If these airports are not allowed to operate for the commercial use, what is the fun in keeping it open? Instead of spending huge amount on its up-keep and maintenance out of the profits of Airports Authority of India without gainful activities, better to close down these airports.

Nivedita Minister Praful is infamous for his untruths. Constantly manipulating and utterly insincere, he will go back on his words because just yesterday he said that that two airports cannot operate at Hyd and Bgl. Heard of someone changing words everyday?

B S GANESH UPA government has become wiser after creating problems to air passengers and strike. This shows lack of foresight and avoiding inconvenience to passengers. It is foolish to close existing air ports as existing should be for domestic and population also increases. Politicians must realise that the government must be for the convenience of majority of users and not for whimsical decisions.
