Mumbai: Yet another star kid makes an entry into the filmy world in Suhail Tatari’s Summer 2007.

And with Aishwarya Rai as a rather hands-on support, Sikander Kher, son of Anupam and Kiron Kher, is so pumped up about his debut, even though it looked like Aishwarya's excuse to harp on her marital status.

"We're like family of course now that Abhishek is my husband,” said Aishwarya.

But family is not so much on Sikander's mind, call him a star kid and pat comes the reply.

"I don't agree with the term star kid and being launched, I feel like a rocket who has been launched,” says Sikander.

So what was his take on others from similar lineage namely Ranbir Kapoor?

"They are technically already my senior. This industry's too big for competition,” says Sikander.

Sikander is not in a mood to give up. However, after much persistence he says, “If somebody has Ranbir in mind they can't take me, look what he looks like and what I look like,” says Sikander.
