Star-studded Zee Cine Awards held in London
Bollywood stars graced the red carpet on Saturday evening for Zee Cine Awards.
Muumbai: SRK is truly a master of all trades and a Jack of none, balancing everything with ease. But as far as watching rival Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par is concerned, he hasn't had the time yet. The Badshah of Bollywood reveals all to CNN-IBN Entertainment Editor, Rajeev Masand.
Rajeev Masand: Most people will say that their best films for 2007 were either Chak De India or Taare Zameen Par. Which one was your favourite?
Shah Rukh Khan: I haven't seen Taare Zameen Par. Sorry Aamir. I am really sorry. He called me also. I have not had time. My wife loved the film. Personally, my favourite of the year would be Chak De India for my work. But in terms of issues and all, I think Taare Zameen Par because I too have kids and I can relate to it. And I think the kid in the movie is very good. And also Aamir. Also I have a soft corner for actors who direct for the first time.
Rajeev Masand: So many of your contemporaries are moving into direction. Is that an area we'll see you going in?
Shah Rukh Khan: I don't know yet. I think it's a very lonely job. Ajay Devgan, Aamir Khan and Sunny Deol have lots of guts. I think they are all doing very well. I feel like sitting down and asking them what it feels like to direct yourself. It's very nice, but am I ready to be so lonely so early? Not quite. I like the sound, the noise the people. I want to do television, endorsements, Knight Riders, movies. I want to do so much and when there is nothing left to do, the I will direct.
