Hafiz Saeed calls India 'number one enemy' at a rally in Pakistan

Peshawar: Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief and 26/11 Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafiz Mohammad Saeed yet again made an anti-India call at a rally in Pakistan.
Issuing a new threat, Saeed called India "the number one enemy". The rally was attended by MPs of Nawaz Sharif's ruling PML(N), Imran khan's PTI and Jamat-e-Islami. It was called in support of Saudi Arabia's war against Houthi rebels in Yemen.

His statement comes on a day when Chinese President Xi Jinping is in Pakistan for a 2-day state visit. This is Xi Jinping's first visit to Pakistan. Ahead of the trip, Xi said that visiting Pakistan is like visiting the home of a brother.
Calling Pakistan an all-weather friend, Xi vowed to strengthen ties between the two countries and cited the progress both nations have made in various fields including in setting up a 46 billion bilateral economic corridor to link Pakistan's strategic Gwadar port on the Arabian Sea with China's Xinjiang province through Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
Saeed had come out in support of Kashmiri separatists and admitted that his organisation is backing the Pakistan Army wage jihad in the valley.
"If India is not ready to give their rights and if they fire then jihad is the only way. Pakistan has always taken a stand that it is the right of a Kashmiri to get azadi. So, we say whenever our army takes a stand on helping the Kashmiris then we stand by the forces," he had said.
