'Idiots' shooting progresses in Kochi

The tourists dozing at the bay near the Dutch Cemetery at Fort Kochi raise their eyebrows and watch as Baburaj, with a dramatic turn, walks swiftly from the sea bridge. He walks towards Asif Ali and Sanusha and the trio opens up a conversation.
Suddenly Sanusha gets annoyed. She gives vent to her anger by marching away from the scene, dragging Asif along with her. The director shouts cut. Its the location of Idiots, the shooting of which is progressing at Kochi.As the name suggests the film focuses on the events that happen in the life of a group of eccentric people in a single night. This is an out-and-out comic entertainer frilled with several hilarious moments. Also, a tinge of mystery is added in the treatment of the film, says Sangeeth Sivan, the producer of Idiots, who returns to Mollywood after the hiatus of more than a decade.He adds, The story of the movie had been there in my mind for a while. This is a clean family movie that focuses beyond niche audience.Idiots which is shot in the suburbs of Kochi has Asif Ali playing a stranger who breaks into Sanushas house. Baburaj acts as a restaurant owner. As the story evolves, they involve in a tiff over the heroine. Later the three of them have a long chat and they reconcile.Sanusha, looking gorgeous in a pink and white salwar, was in a cheerful mood. She says, Mine is a capricious character who is naive enough to believe whatever others say. The movie is essentially a funfilled ride and I am having a gala time with the team of the movie.Director of the movie is debutant K S Bava who assures Idiots will be different in treatment and meet the expectations of the audience. The film produced under the banner of Sangeeth Sivan Productions and Capital Films is slated to release by September - October. P K Varma cranks the camera. Music is by debutant Nandu Kartha.
