Vijit Singh was initially booked for only negligent driving, and was released on bail.
However, the police later booked him under the non-bailable charge of culpable homicide.
Police now want the earlier bail cancelled
Police today said that Singh's medical report "substantiates" the claim made by the witnesses on his state at the time of the mishap.
The "medical report will supplement the testimony given
by the main witnesses.
They had testified that Vijit was so drunk that he could not even walk properly.
"Now this report substantiates their testimony that he was very drunk and certainly in no shape to drive," alleged Mohan Singh, Superintendent of Police, Jaipur.
He was arrested and was after being released on bail by the traffic police.
