New Delhi: Nearly 100 Indian workers in the US are marching up to the White House and will be returning their H2B visas.

This is a symbolic rejection of the Guest Workers Programme that they claim was used to traffic them to the United States.

These workers quit their jobs after complaining that they underwent "slave-like" treatment at a Mississippi shipyard.

The workers arrive at DC after their nine-day trip from New Orleans and will be joined by supporters from Jobs With Justice, a campaign for worker's rights in the US.

The workers have filed a suit against their former employer and its US and Indian recruiters.
