osho gautam A.R.REHMAN's works cant b described in words, rather they could only be felt but to summarise his mastercreations some words could be summed up
he is a true maestro of music his creations are like warm water which slowly mrmerises you.his compositions are true melancholies which are churned from deep inside, they bear the soul...the quality which sums up in a mesmerising and natural style........the a.r rehman style

pavan I think Mr.rajeev masand should have asked more questions like the favrouite films of Rehman till date, and about his fourth coming movies.

Crazician Its very unfortunate that the interviewer has a very limited knowledge on the works of A.R. Rahman. Most of the questions revolved around Rang de Basanti, Dil Se, Bombay Dreams and Bollywood while most of the best works of A.R. Rahman were in Tamil and Telugu. CNN-IBN, having positioned itself as a national news channel, should strive to bring the entire nation in its radar and not restrict itself to bollywood and northindia.

salil Ru ba Ru Is 'Highway Star' of India. It is the most sought song when you are driving. And for album RDB, it gets 20 out of 10. Everything in it is better than ideal. Sometimes you got to forget the 'ideal state'

preeti rawat indeed this was a good interview by mr rajeev masand,i really like the way the questions were framed and organized coz their cannot be a good enterview without a good enterviewer, the kind of knowledge and information that mr masand has shows the kind of research work done by him and that is what makes it all the more perfect.i think no one could have better than this.

Srini 'A lilly of a day is fairer far in may,
Although is fall and die that night,
it was a plant and flower of delight'

When I ruminated over these immortal line of Ben Johnson, I have a flash of some exceptional personalities coming into my mind. AR Rahman, exquisite unique and unmatchable synonym of Indian music is definetely justified to be a precursor among the exceptional beings time has produced and history has preserved. With the meagre taste of music I have, I can really drive home the point that he is undoubtedly a genius. Having said that, I wish to usher in another remarkable composer whom we need to really complement here is Mr. Illayaraja. He is another gem in the immortal shades of music, still glittering with the same sheen. People with a real sound for music will definetely accept this concern.

We are really lucky enough to be in this juncture of time were these two great 'titans of music' ornating the musical history.

Cheers'
Srini
