After much delay the 54 th National Film Awards are finally announced. Gandhigiri holds sway- the cult film Lage Raho Munnabhai sweeps in four categories. Traffic signal is the surprise choice for best direction. Malayalam film Pullijanmam bags the best Feature Film Award. With a host of mainstream Bollywood films laying claim to the prized statuette, is regional cinema falling off the radar?
