Mumbai: Its one of the few professions where women are preferred over men. So is this bias hurting the ever-ballooning male ego?

It might be man's world but on the ramp it’s a whole different story. No Wonder then when it comes to numbers women outdo or shall say out walk the men.

"Market at the end of the day is concentrated on women. Women are the one who want to try out different things. Guys are very simple and happy with just one pair of pants. We have to just cope with it. We can’t complain," says one male model.

"Guys are lesser than the girls like if there are 40 girls then there are 10 guys. Girls can experiment more, guys don’t experiment," says another model.

However, not all designers are willing to agree to this theory.

Designer Narendra Kumar says, “Not at all. I think we do equal justice to shows. I enjoy both men and women shows."

However, it’s the ladies who have the final word.

"Well there are not so many designers who design for men. So if there are not many designers there wont be not many shows for male models," says an women model.

As far as fashion's concerned, seems like women are indeed, on top.
