New Delhi: Karnataka's Chief Minister-in-waiting, B S Yeddyurappa was in New Delhi on Wednesday to meet top BJP leaders, before being sworn in on Friday. He spoke exclusively CNN-IBN.

CNN-IBN: You met the Governor on Tuesday. What was the response?

Yeddyurappa: He has invited me to form the government and we have fixed up the date for May 30 between 13:15 hrs IST and 14:15 hrs IST PM.

CNN-IBN: Will you be taking the oath alone or with other ministers of the Cabinet?

Yeddyurappa: I will be taking the oath with other ministers.

CNN-IBN: How many ministers will be sworn in with you?

Yeddyurappa: That has not been decided yet.

CNN-IBN: Will you be taking a floor test in the Assembly?

Yeddyurappa: That's not at all required. We have got absolute majority in the Assembly - 115.

CNN-IBN: What about the independents who are supporting you? Will they also be part of the Cabinet?

Yeddyurappa: They have not put any conditions in front of us but we are still considering everything. We will take that decision at the appropriate time.

CNN-IBN: Will a minority minister definitely be sworn in?

Yeddyurappa: I am definitely going to keep my promise. You see my two budgets, the minorities and SC/ST are very happy. Most of them benefited. And it is my duty to take minorities also into confidence. And 25 to 30 per cent minorities supported us during these elections. Long back I had promised that I would give a Muslim senior leader the opportunity to be in my Cabinet.

CNN-IBN: What are your priorities?

Yeddyurappa: I already know them. They are in my election manifesto and we are going to fulfill all the promises. Our agenda is only development and more development for Karnataka. We want to give utmost importance to infrastructure development in Bangalore. I can see that the plan for the infrastructure is wrong. We are going to consult technical people and you will see change within the next two or three years in Bangalore.
