New Delhi: Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh carded a two-over-par 74 in the second round of the Augusta Masters to safely make the half-way cut on Friday.
Trevor Immleman holds a one-shot lead heading into the final two rounds, while Tiger Woods is seven strokes back.
Immelman birdied the last two holes to shoot a four-under-par 68 for the second straight round. Immleman is eight-under par after the first two rounds, one shot ahead of Brandt Snedeker and three ahead of Steve Flesch, Ian Poulter and Phil Mickelson.
Amongst the big names to miss the cut were Ernie Els, Luke Donald, Sergio Garcia and Rory Sabbatini.
"I am pretty happy about that but still disappointed about my driving but I am human and I made some errors on the back nine, but that is fine. I have got time to work on it and in the next two days hopefully I can get it sorted out," Jeev said after his second round performance.
