kishore It is so pathetic and shameful that a genocide of this scale is being perpetrated and is being allowed to happen under the pathetic Indian government.

I have my full support to USA in case it wants to attack India and give some solace to Kashmiri Pandits who have been killed for the past 20 years or so.
Indian govt rather than stopping the massacre, is abetting the murderers in the name of special status to Kashmir. I dont know how much time it would take for the likes of Professor Manmohan singh to understand that is is wrong and should be stopped at any cost. Kashmir is a part of India and protecting its people is the dharma of the Indian Govt and if he doesnot understand it, i dont see any use of him occupying the high seat. Let some deserving soul rule the nation.

sg Do you seriously think any govt is interested in bringing back the pandits back to the valley, then I think there're living in fools paradice. The UPA specially with a partner like the Mufti is not bringing back any one. And the pandits statement tat it would like to go back to his original house hold with having the family living there to go out in itself that the pandits are oppressed. There is systamatic cleansing in J&K the the UPA read Congres is to be blamed who choose to appease one community.

suman it is wrong to mislabel kashimiri pundits as migrants. they are real habitants of valley and Jk was ruled by hindu king till 1947 and 18% population were pundits.
congress is responsible for genocidal masscare and ethenic cleansing of pundits from valley. JK mess is created by congress govt wrong polices and mis and corroupt rule of state govt.
ind media failed to highlight govt in center and state failed protect the life and properties of innocent ppl in valley?
why GOI and media did not take representative of pundits community while talking about Jk resolution???

kvjayan What if the Kashmiri pundits suffer and feel like refugees in their own land? The Govt. of India is secular and its constitution is one of the "secularest" constitutions of the world, always more worried about getting a good conduct certificate (as far as the treatment of the "minorities", is concerned) from the rest of the world.

Thomas Verkey Dear Shamim Meraj,

The last line of your report reads, "Meanwhile the lies of Tickoo and many other families, it might take a long time before they can feel at home again."

Lies should be likes. I hope it was not a deliberate mistake. Or your personal opinion.

Amit Kashmir and TN have seen ethnic cleansing of Brahmins. These two states are now most vulnerable to terrorists designs. It is a clear strategy of the forces inimical to India. Get rid of the Brahmins, the Hinduism shall crumble. Do it any which way but weaken Hinduism (which is the only force that could defeat the mighty British and the Mughals) is the credo of the traitors.

Karavadi Raghava Rao ashmiri pandits have their illustrious culture. They have become alieans in their motherland. The government of the centre or states will not care for them as their votes are negligible.Even the Hindutwa parties are not caring them Some time back a Kashmiri padit has said that it was Bal Thakerey that gave some help and shelter to the Kashmiri Padits.Beforr the government of India does any thing the BJP,RSS and VHP which are having funds in abundance should help the pandits of Kashmir to prove their regard and respect to Vedic Religion and Indian culture

Archana Yesterday we had seen politicians staging protest against a demolished Babri Masjid. But, does any of them care for the sufferings of people like these Pandits who had to either leave their native place or are staying back and facing the threat of the so called terrorist wings of the minorities and the neglect from Governments who had been standing up even to protect a person like Afzal Guru. Shame on our entire nation. We are claiming to be one of the fastest growing economies, but what we need more is social security. Will ordinary Indians ever get the feel of social security in future.

Suryanarayan Please change the typo on the last sentence. It gives a very different meaning. The correct word is likes and not lies.

Sam State Govt and Central Govt doesn't care about Kashmiri Pandits because we don't have numbers to be a vote bank . This punishment because we always were nationalists and peace loving community.
