New Delhi: What chance does another sport have when the IPL is on? Most people would say next to zero. But when the great Khali is around; who cares about cricket.

"I was happy to meet Sachin (Tendulkar). I am a great fan of his," Kahli has said.

He may be a fan of the Little Master, but his own fan following isn't too bad.

There is a diversion for the young from the fever of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The cricketers seem to be facing tough competition from the 7-feet & 3-inch tall man - popularly called The Great Khali.

"I was watching it (IPL) but was not so interesting as watching Khali live," a kid says.

And that doesn't seem to be the only reason. The Great Khali seems to be ruling the roost when it comes to capturing the kids' attention.

"I feel good after seeing him. He has a fantastic body," another kid says.

"He is really strong, big and fights with honour. He is honest and doesn't like to disgrace someone," other kids add.

So it looks like it's time for our demigods to pull their socks up to stand up to their very tall competition.

One that seems to be leaving a definite mark on the young children, just like his signature Khali move.
