New Delhi: If the legal merger of Kingfisher Airlines and Air Deccan is completed by July there is a possibility of Kingfisher flying abroad.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will have a final say in the matter.

Kingfisher will induct about 10 wide-body aircrafts to start flights from Bangalore to San Francisco and New York.

By the end of 2008, the airlines hopes to fly to London, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Colombo, Lahore, Karachi, Hong Kong and Dhaka.

But before the flights start, the airlines will have to meet the operational requirements laid down by the DGCA.

Air Deccan is planning 70 weekly flights to Dubai.
