New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo and an important member of the United Progressive Alliance Lalu Prasad said that the Left is confused and has made a mistake by withdrawing support to the Central Government.

He was confident that the government has the numbers to pull through the Vote of Confidence if the need arose.

"There is no danger on the government. The government will survive. Yes we will do it (prove majority) on our own. Mulayam Singh is with us," Lalu said.

The Union Railway Minister stressed that the Indo-US Civil Nuclear Deal is in the interest of the nation.

Most importantly, he said that the Left will not become untouchables for the UPA and that its support can be taken again if the need arises.

"That is not difficult. Yes. We (Left and UPA) are together today also. There is no full stop in our relation with the Left. It is their compulsion so (they pulled out)," he added.
