New Delhi: After Dr Rajesh Talwar, once accused in the murder of his daughter and servant walked out a free man, he asked the media to leave him and his family alone.

“Let me grieve in peace,” says Dr Talwar.

Meanwhile, it seems that the case is gaining political relevance. While UP Chief Minister Mayawati and Amar Singh promised to see the Talwars, UP's Principal Secretary refused to take any action against the erring Noida cops.

“At present, no action is taken against Noida cops,” says Principal Secretary, Home, UP, Fateh Bahadur.

Rajesh Talwar spent 50 days in Ghaziabad’s Dasna Jail after which the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) said that there was no evidence against him. He is now out on bail.

The world of the Talwar family seems to have turned a full circle.

“Please let me spend some time with my family. In the past 50 days I have not been able to share my grief with anyone,” Talwar said.

Although Rajesh Talwar has asked the media to leave him alone, the media continued to camp outside Dr Nupur Talwar's father's house, which is just two blocks away from Dr Talwars L-32 residence in sector 25, Noida.

After Dr Rajesh Talwar’s release, the family has spent most of their time indoors receiving friends and relatives, grieving silently and praying for Arushi's soul.

Visitors at the Talwar residence included their close friends, the Durranis. However, none of them spoke to the media.

While the Talwars come to terms with a life under the constant media scanner, it'll be a while before they come to terms with a life without their only child.
