POLITICAL MILEAGE: UPA alleges BJP is trying to do all that will benefit them in the upcoming Gujarat polls.
New Delhi: Parliament proceedings were disrupted for the second day in a row on Tuesday over the Gujarat fake encounters.
Proceedings were stalled in the Lok Sabha as parties traded charges on the issue.
Congress and some other parties like the Samajwadi Party have been demanding Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi's resignation.
On Monday too, both Houses had been adjourned after an uproar over the fake encounter killings in Gujarat.
Leading the charge against the BJP in parliament was former Gujarat chief minister and Union Textile Minister, Shankar Singh Vaghela.
"The matter is not regarding Sohrabuddin. The matter is regarding Vanjara. Vanjara wanted to finish off all proofs. In Gujarat, the BJP government can do anything at anytime, whatever benefits them in the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections," he said.
