A glittering ceremony introduced the Garden City to its very own Royal Challengers; Vijay Mallya's star-studded outfit that will play in the inaugural IPL Twenty20 championship has many stars including Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble and Jacques Kallis.
"I think the basic strategy is to try and play some good cricket. I believe we have got a good team. We have got some experience; we have got a good balance. I believe we will be very comfortable and competitive in the tournament," Bangalore team skipper Rahul Dravid said.
Inputs from big names like Martin Crowe himself, the team is also stacked up with a bowling outfit that can be difficult to hit out of the park
"You have got Praveen. You have got a wonderful seam attack and also Anil Kumble. He hasn't played Twenty20 cricket but you can't just take away the fact that he is a man of control. So there is plenty," Bangalore team Chief Cricket Officer Martin Crowe said.
So the Red-Gold brigade is all set for the IPL and ready to give its fans much to enjoy.
