One of the worst movie i have ever seen in life.. I cant understand who these super star accepted to do such a film..

Yash Raj should stop taking their audiences for granted. Are they assuming that the people watching their movies are retards, that they will take one crap after another. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom should have been an eye opener to them, yet they have the guts to come up with load full of crap and rest it on Kareena's Bikini. Sorry to say, bikinis are not doing it for you people, you need to step up your game before the audiences form useless opinion about you guys.

Going by the lingo --- Tashan is actually a 'Tochan' !!! Yashraj is really being crazy and dishing out absolute duds... I watched the film in Milwaukee,USA. A lot of compatriots like me were expecting a real good movie but everyone was disheartened to see this. Everyone was laughing sarcastically. I saved myself from embarassment when couple of my American friends (whom I had bragged about this movie) couldnt make it for the movie.After they saw 'Tare Zameen Par' they had enormous expectations from bollywood movies. (I am sorry to even mention TZP in this post as it is a blatant insult of TZP to mention in the same comments as 'Tashan') There were only 3 minutes worth mentioning in this 3 hour saga..Akshay Kumar's ten-headed entry...thats it..Rest all is absolutely stupid and idiotic !! What was everyone thinking when they made this ???? After watching this movie, you will really get irritated thinking about how silly can one be to make such a stupid movie. Do they think that people are silly to watch such a trash , spending their hard-earned money and also wasting their time ??

COME on Rajeev. I read your reviews regularly and most of the times our reviews match. But I would say you are wrong about this one. TASHAN is all about style. Its all about the FORMULA. Like Om Shanti OM was supposed to be "over-the-top" - so was this. The cast was great - everyone played their role well. Anil Kapoor's style and dialogs, Kareena's sex appeal and Akshay - his action, his comedy, his language - all this was really good. So was the body language. Saif played his part well too. This movie is more like a Twenty20 game whose sole purpose is Entertainment. Should get 3/5 stars. Its all about TASHAN :-)

The kind of films that are being dished out by Bollywood these days under the pretense of innovative, fresh cinema have little substance and all style. Film after film is either an adaptation of a foreign film or worse a cheap imitation. Everything from costumes, to music to dialogues are becoming B Grade copies of Hollywood movies. It seems film makers have forgotten that over the last few years, the movies that have done well are the ones that had Indian sensibilities and original subjects. Look at films like Lagaan, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Taare Zameen Par, RDBasanti, Jodha Akbar, is it so difficult to make out what they had in common? It is sad but the most respected film banner in India is the worst perpetrator of this trend that is inflicting Bollywood at the moment.

How about having an opinion of your own? Tashan is an over the top gone over the top entertainer. It's good time pass, does not bore for a minute and is definitely watchable. It's style over substance and isnt called "Tashan" for nothing. Rajiv, we're a country that loves Govinda and Rajni but ALSO watches Al Pacino or Morgan Freeman with just as much passion. This movie is not meant to be in the refined story that makes you think genere. It's a light no-brainer. 3/5 in my opinion.

its an unbearable movie.....a torture from start to finish..........it doesn't have any proper story to interest the audience. full waste of time, money and 'Torture' in return.it should rather be renamed as torture thats more appropriate. Yashraj have gone crazy over these stupid craps which they are churning out every year, last year it was Jhoom barabar Jhoom...this one is more pathetic than that one. Sorry Mr. Zubin you got it wrong if its about only style and no story then why to waste time and money in this rather watch ftv where you can find your taste of only style, no dialogs. Its a Trash-an ugly one, a dudd and can only be compared to any B-grade movie keeping the songs aside and if only kareena in bikini is worth watching then why not ftv or Mtv etc............ It will be the worst movie of the year 2008.mark by words..........never ever watched a crap like this one in my entire life..........its Saif's, Kareena's, Akshay's, Anil's and last but not the least yashraj's torture in tashan........its their 'Tashan'-(style) of bullying the audience.

I was talking about the styling of the movie, the style of the shots, the style with which the movie is made and its tashan on the whole, Mr. Anwar. Take the styling of the action sequences for instance. It would be a good idea for you to look beyond Kareena in her bikini. If that is what YOU went to see, I think you are right. You should stay home and watch FTV :)
