No. Prime Minister should be a distinguished personality and a nationwide popular figure.Clearly with the Taj Corridor and the disproportionate assets case lurking in her background one may be hardly convinced of accepting her as the supremo. Her presence is also limited to UP and a few states. It's horrifying to even imagine her name being added to the list which includes names like Jawaharlal Nehru,Lal Bahadur Shastri, Indira Gandhi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Manmohan Singh..

It will be a sad day for the nation if at all this lady becomes a PM. She just does not have any thing required to hold that august post. It will be tragic for the nation if people like Mulayam Singh, Lalu Yadav and Mayawati become PM. They are all people of dubius character with corrupt image. Mayawati is also anti hindu and will try to do every thing to hurt hindu sentiments and humiliate hindus in order to avenge years of dalit deprivation. And what better way to avenge than by siding with the country's enimies . I may sound cruel and funny but then just ponder over and think....

Have a respect for the post of P.M. Do you want to spoil the image of our country by questioning about Mayawati becoming P.M.? You want our whole country to be projected as a country of illiterates? Come on guys only because she has come back to power in U.P. doesn't mean that she is a prime ministerial candidate. Have you not seen what happened to her party in Gujrat? Mr. Devegawda has already spoiled the prime minister's chair by doing all the wrong things in Karnataka. Do you want our country to be recognised on the level of U.P. Please for God's sake don't even think of that. If by any bad luck it happens then it will be a shame for us. I will rather prefer Sonia Gandhi than Mayawati.
Regards, Anand.

What is her qualification? Keep of Kanshi Ram? It is known she is corrupt and amassed crores. I appreciate her for one thing. she recognized there are poor Hindu forward caste people and they need quotas. I am against any and all caste based quotas. Merit should rule. Hardwork valued. But she is the only one mentioning poor Hindu forward castes. She is eager to divide country by castes. She shouldnot be PM. Never.

It looks like that after 2 parliament elections if she update herself to respects others like this time she is with higher cast people & they are watching her intentions & like wise other casts also watching. She has to learn much more about finanace, external affairs,Home & much more to become PM.New genration will never like the next future PM who is not known for coming topics. She should be more democratic in her party as it looks like she is become Mahapandit concept & which is vary adverse for the leader on nation basis or world wide.

Yes, she can be a successful P.M. but first she will have to have gather more exeperience of national politics and gain strength among all the classes of the Indian society. After ten years she can be a candidate for the Indian Prime Minister.

Mayawati is no doubt a very powerful woman, who has turned heads with her applauding win in UP elections. On her visit to Andhra Pradesh recently, she promised a seperate state of Telangana if she becomes a PM which is very regrettable. This clearly throws light on her ambitions to become a PM even if that costs her to divide the country. We need a Prime Minister who is a person with a vision for the country, who is well educated to lead one of the fastest growing economies of the World and one who can represent our country in the international arena.
