jain THIS NUKE DEAL IS A FAIR DEAL.
INDIA IS OPEN TO DO ANY THING WHAT INDIA WANT AND
USA IS OPEN WHAT USA WANT. SO WHAT IS WRONG WITH
THE DEAL. IT IS A FAIR DEAL I HAVE EVER SEEN.

OK EVEN THE DEAL IS DONE . IF YOU DO NOT TRUST USA
DO NOT BUY THE NUKE FROM THEM.
USA IS A FRIEND OF INDIA . AND IF DEAL IS PASSED
INDIA IS A DECLARED NUKE COUNTRY. LIKE USA

SO WHAT IS THE WRONG WITH THE DEAL

Ajay Rathod A few days back they dint want India to go ahead with anything, now they say you can go but keep quiet.. what foolishness is this ? Left should hold their peace and let the deal go thru. The country needs it.

If not let left come up with some "new technology" to produce more or at least half of that power that can be done using Nuclear power.

Also I wonder why BJP is oppposing it now ? They were even ready to sign the CTBT ! I thought they may represent the national cause and voted for them once. But I will never again make that mistake. They have shown their true color.

India can "shine" only if people like Manmohan Singh , and PC are given a free hand. Of course fools like Arjun Singh must be kept off.

J.N. Kini 10...9...8...7...6.... I mean the climb down has begun.Reminds me of a story in Kerala (hope Karat is listening). A guest who felt that accepting the invite for partaking in the dinner of rice broth was below the dignity, refused the same to his host. However, when the hunger overtook his ego, he asked his host, how do you eat the broth, with a spoon made of green leaf of jackfruit tree or a ripe leaf. When being answered that with ripe leaf, the guest readily agreed to eat the broth, saying he wouldn't have had it if it was with a green leaf!!

more Rita Friends, who are these left that are opposing the Nuke deal - lets get to some history about them..
1. These left are the same people who had got several Indian freedom fighter arrested during World War 2, 1945-46, at Soviet Russia's instance.
2. these Left are the very same people who has taken China's side when 1962 Indo-Chinese war broke out. They even riased fund for Chinese soldiers in India.
3. They had called respected freedom fighetr Netaji Subhas Bose "DOG."
4. Today they want to stop the Nuke deal the the instance of China's Communist party.
Can we Indians trust these very same Left with India's national interest ? Think yourself after carefully going thru history.

srinivasan.k it is ridiculous for sitaram yechury to suggest that India can attend IAEA but cant discuss anything there. Left keep saying that majority of parliament does not want nuke deal - especially when no voting on nuke deal will take place in parliament. Left keeps the people of this country in a state of confusion. Tom Peters book "Thriving Amidst Chaos" by Tom Peters - was best seller management book which came out some 15 years ago. Now comrades can write their experiments & experiences over the last 3 years - with the same title - "Thriving Amidst Chaos in Indian Politics " it will be a HOT SELLER, I BET.

Kaushik So apt was the question!!
"Making light of a suggestion that the Left was opposing the nuclear deal to help China and Pakistan". Isn't that so obvious to everyone of us?

Left has always worked against our country's development and thus helping Pakistan and China.

Go away Left we dont need hypocrites like you.

Go Ahead Mr PM we are all with you. Make India a powerful state.

Ramachandra Cabinet Minister Mr. Kabil Sibbel A lawyer himself said that the international agreements by the Govt. don't need approval of the parliament. May be it was constitutional when one party Govt.s were in power. Can the position be constitutional in this era of Govts. by Allied parties. What our PM and his party who are in a definite minority on this issue seem to be thrusting their will on the nation. Can this be constitutional?
