KSV SUBRAMANIAN The government should act ruthlessly against this outfit immediately, for any delay may require the nation to pay a very high price. The outfit is antinational as its term suggest "Maoists". They are most dangerous to any civilised society. I am reminded of the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia. This outfit should be annihiliated from its roots. The government should also look into the root cause of the problem and solve the issues at the earliest so that any of our population should never become an extremist. Due to the government's lenient policy the precious lives of our policemen are lost.

more Keith i am delighted to find this news early in morning. Police, the most corrupt, idiotic and inhumane, should mete out to such punishments. Given a chance, i am interested in eliminating all the politicians and police from this poor country. They are the dangerous ones, who hold the the power, the most corruptive thing.

Karavadi Raghava Rao Naxalites are getting most sophisticated weapons. They are changing their tactics every time and every moment.Has the Central government ever enquired as to from which source the Maoists are getting these weapons? When there are reports that the ISI of Pakistan is helping Maoists why the centre has not taken any action? In AP itself which is the most effected by the Maoist activities except the GREYHOUNDS the specially trained people no other police man can combat with Naxals. This was told by DGP himself when Naxalites attacked the former CM Chandrababu Naidu in Tirupathi around 2004.The police departments of state governments have become completely politicised and ineffective. The DGPS became not the servants of the people but the most loyal attendants of the persons who ever sit in the chair of CM.Around 1983 and 1984 the famous CPI Leader Late Chandra Rajeswara Rao commented that the post of SUB Inspector is on sale for Rs 1 lakh. Similarly the still lower level positions. All agree that the situation now has ruined a lot more than that.No proper training. No proper refresher courses in firing and sudden attacking.Much of the police force is utilised for the security of political people and useless meetings .The CM of AP himself admitted that many police stations are not provided with ordinary guns. Then what for Police Stations? To collect money from ordinary theives, lorry and vehcles people. If police is unable to tackle the situation let the central government use Army. Maoists are fighting and loosing their lives. But the real danger to society is from the so called Civil Liberties Activists who are supporting the acts of Naxalites.Thay are enjoying the previleges of democracy and are supporting Maoist Violence.Cases must be booked against them.Remember Rama Killing Vali hiding behind a tree in Ramayana against the normal rules of combat of those days.

s.jayaram Friends,

Sonia Congress is not interested in solving the Naxal problem. Sonia's people forget that Naxals are very active in 200 districts in India.Naxals are getting help from ISI, Bangladesh, Nepal and Churchs. If UPA and for that matter BJP government in Chhattisgarh wants to solve this problem they have to start the war with the help of Indian army and Airforce. Naxal hideouts should be carpet bombed by the Airforce fighters. I am afraid that as long as our super primeminister Sonia is around it is very difficult to start a meaningful attempt.

more K.K.Sahadevan A lot of elements have started to humiliate the Left Government of WB. BJP, Congress, TMC like political parties, elements like naxalites who is rejected by Bengali People, as well as medias are competing to show that live telecast as Nandigram is a hot cake, even then 55 innocent policemen dead in Chattisgarh.

Mamta Banerjee can go public, if Left Front commits any mistakes. It will take time, but she has no time. She likes to gain it quickly what she wants, so accepts the way of violence. A politician must have reputation / image in the public, but she does not have. Sometime she throws papers to the Hon. Speaker, in Parliament or attacks State Secretariat office or try to support these offencive elements. Now she called for bandh and Bengal fumes.

Congress gave their support to naxalites, but they quickly understood what mistakes they have done.

BJP tries for fishing in mud water. BJP believes in violence only, which is against in Democracy. whether it is in Babri Masjid demolition or Gujarat carnage or support to naxalites in Nandigram. As its Nandigram idea, we can guess BJP supports the naxalites in Chattisgarh also. How much ashamed that BJP supports them, who has attacked Mr. Venkaiah Naidu’s helicopter before 1 year. The list is as follows: Ayodhya, Babri Masjid, Gujarat Carnage, India Shining, Feel Good, Uma Bharti, Madan Lal Khurana, Khandahar, 2000 cr of Pramod Mahajan, Tehelka expose of Bangaru Lakshman, Sanjay Joshi CD, Centaur Hotel sell off, Dawood Relation, Parliament and Akshardam Mandir Attacks, Jasoosi, Killing of Prof. Sabbarwal, Resignation of UP MLAs, Generational Change, Vandemataram, Rahul Mahajan, Sidhu, Support to naxalites in Nandhigram....
