New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) believes that the murders of Noida girl Arushi Talwar and domestic help Hemraj were premeditated and not committed in the spur of the moment as claimed by the UP Police.

Arushi, 14, was found murdered in her Noida home on May 16. The Noida police first declared Hemraj, 35, as the prime suspect but backtracked when his body was found the next day on the terrace of the house.

The UP Police have claimed that Arushi’s father Dr Rajesh Talwar, who is under arrest, committed the murders on the night of May 15 after he found the girl and Hemraj in an “objectionable position”.

The CBI on Tuesday conducted a third lie-detector test on Dr Talwar’s compounder Krishna, who has emerged as a new suspect in the murders and is expected to be arrested soon.

CBI sources told CNN-IBN that they have found a “vital” set of fingerprints from the air conditioner in Arushi’s room and the new clue would help them in solving the murders.

As many as five CBI teams took Krishna to the Talwar residence on Monday night and re-created the entire crime scene again with the help of forensic experts.

Krishna, who hails from Nepal, worked at Dr Talwar's Noida clinic for the last three years and was a confidante of Hemraj.

Meanwhile, Krishna told a news channel that he is innocent. "I am innocent and I have not done anything. The CBI is trying to frame me to shield Rajesh Talwar," a visibly distraught Krishna told the channel as he was being whisked away by the CBI. "Save me," he cried out.
