Noida: The Noida police on Tuesday raided a makeshift clinic at the residence of Rajesh Talwar, the father of 14-year-old Arushi who was found murdered in her house last week.

The police broke open the lock and while it’s not clear what they found, top officials from UP police force are reiterating a breakthrough is in sight.

"We've been getting information about various places and this breaking is part of our investigation. There are many angles to this case. We are working on the elimination theory to come down to that one angle which will be of most help in our investigations,” said SP (City), Ashok Tripathi.

Earlier on Tuesday, the family's driver Umesh Sharma gave his account of what Arushi did on the evening she was supposedly murdered.

“I reached at 9:30pm. At 9:45, I went to return the car keys. Arushi was there, standing next to the dining table,” he said, adding, “I've never seen Hemraj drinking though I've seen him smoke.”

The police have ruled out sexual assault in the sensational double murder case.

“The post-mortem and other tests have ruled out rape. The STF, Noida police are investigating. No arrests have been made so far,” said Additional DGP (Law & Order), Brij Lal.

The police are also looking into the call details of both victims and suspects. The servant Hemraj's call records reveal a received call after he died. The police have tracked the call to a PCO in Noida and the PCO owner is being questioned.
