This is an awesome service !!! Kudos to whoever thought of this. With family being so far away, it is nice to know that you can still provide the care that your people need back home. Do you know of any such service in Bangalore ?

This is a very good concept. Although, as mentioned by Anjan Bhattacharya, any day personal touch is the best - but it may not be possible by NRIs, as mentioned in this article. Please note, we are running similar set up in Hyderabad - viz., AP NRI Services, which includes taking care of renting the flat, collection of rents, payment of all bills, receiving in the airport, making arrangements for local travels, taking parents to functions and pilgrimages and also property apprisal.
This type of services are necessary not only for NRIs but also for busy persons, within India. There are many people, staying very far away from their near and dear, due to their work, who require this type of service.
Anyday, like Breast Feeding is the best for the new born, but people start using commercial milk powder, due to various needs, such services mentioned in this article, is useful to everyone, although Personal touch is best, but cannot be given due to various constraints.

Things are not as simple or easy as it being reflected in this article. PErsonal touch is always better. Caring an old parent can never be left to an outsider.
What is mentioned in this article is true for services like sending an investment form or paying some dues or sending some gifts , etc. Otherwise where the involvement of ones' own person or near and dear ones are invloved , those can not be replaced by service providers.
