Seema I totally agree with Mr. Jaitley, we the people of India do not trust spineless puppet minister who looses sleep only for one community and has only unwillingly said something about terror and has a bad past record in dealing with terror.

Avinash I strongly beileve that PM has failed in countering terror. He is too soft to be aPM of a country which is worst hit by terror and inoccent people dying everynow and then. We need an agresive PM to tackle these useless and coward jihadis which are disrespectfull to their own religion and human life.
We need a change.

B S GANESH Blasts in various parts of the country have become a sort of children's play in our country. Jaipur blast is 20th in the past two years. No body wants to think how a foreign hand can organise such blasts without the active support of indigenous hands. It is evident since politicians are fully surrounded by various types of security they are not bothered. Perhaps they may be seriously thinking as to what to do only when some politicians are attacked. There is a country of many minorities and has no majority community due to various types of castes sub-castes etc. This is said by a former Chief Justice of India. Due to advancement in science and electronics most criminals in jails are able to use cell phones and internet to guide terrorists and criminals for all types of crimes, as reputation of jail staff is poor. Besides India has become a soft country for criminals and hard one for honest people due politicians themselves being criminals and traitors in political uniform. As per today's report in the Indian Express that for Karnataka Elections political partires have given tickets to about 100 candidates with criminal records of murder, corruption and all sorts of crimes. Can we not think criminals in politics in assemblies and Parliament attracts criminals to strengthen them?. CJI KG Balakridhnan rightly said ''We require some stringent laws. The government has the responsibility of protecting the lives of innocent citizens "m which is the need of the hour. If such attacks are to be prevented, we require honest patriotic politicians who consider all people as equal and provide facilities based on economic conditions of the family for uplifting and not by caste or religion. Till such time we get such politicians country has to suffer. This is my considered opinion.

B S GANESH,

sanjay India has third largest civilian casualties after Afghanistan and Iraq still out PM feels there is no need for TADA or POTA. Definately he does not have guts to confront terror.

more Amir Here is the track record Mr.Jaitley might want to have a look at:
1. Deadliest terrorists been escorted to Kandahar by none other than Jaswant Singh.
2. Attack on parliament exposing the kind of security it had.
3. Attack on Akshardham temple causing maximum casualties 2 terrorists were only ecountered after they killed more than 3 dozen people including 5 NSG commandos.
4. Kargil happened only after 100s of infiltrators have taken strategic positions in an year without any notice of intelligence agencies or army

So you are telling country that you don't have confidence on current set-up are you joking gentleman?

Karuna It is quite intriguing to note that in the "mid term polls" inflicted on Karnataka voters,20 months ahead of the regular polls, by the "bungling of the largest single party- BJP,its leaders are snipping at UPA on "being soft towards terrorists"!
Will they honestly juxtapose their own six years' record of governance of the nation and iron-handed dealings with "terrorists"?
Will they make a review of their much adoed Pota, which armed them to can the wrong guys only!
Only, yesterday the Chief Justice of India also said that POTA was inadequate and that a clear definition of terrorism is the basic point of conflict.Ths apex court has declared that "anti-minority bias is hampering probes.
The BJP leaders keep harping on not hanging Afzal Guru connected wth attack on Parliament!Perhaps, to cover up their imbroglio of releasing Moulana Azhar and swapping him and other two terrorists for the release of hostages at Kandhar! He only masterminded Parlaiment attack! What a wonderful sense of justice.
International agencies have held the BJP govts in diverse states for hunting, imprisonning for long periods of innocent minority community members, falsely accusing them
of being close associates of X and Y groups in their terrorists lists.
The atrocities of goons of their own in Gujarat, Orissa , Kerala and W.Bengal and driving away MF Hussain out of India are not terrorist activities in their lexicon!
What track record have they got to criticize others?

madhu P M can't fight anyone, not even his communist partners. He can't fight his ministers too. That is what happens when the ruling party chooses an aged P M. Pakistan always is at an advantage in this respect. In my opinion people above 60 should not occupy any position in the government. It is a fallasy to think that older people in seventies or eighties carry greater wisdom or necessary spirit.Aged people need help not positions.

karthik would endorse whoever says what Arun has said here of PM.It's highly suspecious that how PM would try to do things with FCA ( Federal Crime Agency) with his poor administrative skills even though he is master economist who can do favour to India on economy front. The need of the hour is to contain and totally root out the terrorism not only from India but also from the Universe, on that line of duty How this PM with his poor track record would deliver? As a citizen of India I lost my faith in current form of laws to contain terrorism, and this poor goverment and this PM. It's so unfortunate to see innocent people of India fall prey to terrorists' plots.
