bala The aim of the media crorepathis is to shed crocodile tears for the poors by attacking middle class. If a film actress earn 2.5 crore for a few seconds they have no problem. These kind of cine stars salary wont increase inflation.Nor does the high pays of cricketers ,politicians, corrupt goons, brokers, real estate mafias. But if a middle class guy studying well, politician will step in to introduce quotas.Govt would step in to get maximum taxes. He has live in a cage in city to pay taxes in lakhs. The ediot finance minister dont know what is the expense if a couple getting married in cities.Nor does the media. There are thousands of unsolvable problems in cities too as does in villages.First understand it.Middle class people are not leading Rahul Gandhi's life.We are struggling day by day.If India doesnt realises it soon , only poors and riches would be part of India. How EC works in this country? Will they announce a holiday date and collect applications? Will they come to your home and handover the election card? Its truly painful for anyone,to waste time ,endure difficulties and vote for a person who wont raise a voice for you.If all middle class votes sure many would be frustrated in the next elections around.

james why should middle class be interested in politics.we all know that rules for entering politics in india are
1) person should be rich through unaccounted money
2) should be corrupt
3) should be a criminal (murdering someone will be an added advantage).
4) should create riots
5) should organize bandhs or block roads frequently
6) should use plitical influence to save another criminal from going to jail
with such sick people in political parties like congress, bjp and cpm,why should middle class bother about them.

VJai I have two questions
Why should somebody vote?
Which party has the credibility to get the votes?

Reason for my questions is:

Congress: Nobody knows who is going to be the cheif minister, probably if SM Krishna was the CM candidate I would have voted to congress. Since we don't know who is going to be the CM candidate it becomes very hard to vote. Because of the expereince we had in last elections and center is not doing nothing with having congress (UPA) as the ruling party except for "bashans", it could not check the inflation, it could not complete the NDeal with US, it could not stop corruption, it could not handle terrorism, it could not give a strong reason why afzal guru is not hanged, and the list just goes on....

BJP: They could not negotiate and form a government even after getting a major vote share and everybody knows it was because of the money making portfolios sharing which brought the government down. If they were keen on giving good governance they could have done it. No statelevel or central leader (Except Advani as Vajpayee is retired now and he alone cannot run the government).

JDS: State level party which does not have the credibility with the center to get any projects approved from Center neither they have any vision which is evident from their election manifest. One of the biggest reasons is it's a party run by a family, for the family, to the family which is evident by the number of very strong JDS leaders who have joined congress now (MP Prakash, Siddu, ...).

BSP: No exepereince about the state demographics or understanding. It hasn'd done anything notable in UP other than making their own statues.

puneet Whom will you support:
1. Congress
2. BJP
3. JDS
Peolple of Karnataka have seen both Congress in the regime of S M Krishna who is blamed to have done nothing for the rural areas. Even if middle class and upper middle wants him to be the chair bearer it does not make any difference. As you cannot gain anything just by wishing, for that you have to go out and cast your valuable vote.

Talk about JDS and the famaous drama starts rolling in front of you eyes and made a mockery of politics. Everyone had their sympathy with BJP. But still the farmers and the rural areas will support JDS because of their strong holdings in those areas. For that we have to wait and watch.

Talk about BJP and is considered as some foreign party who is trying hard to make their mark in the state. Last time they almost did it, but thanks to Congress and JDS who prevented them from by bringing in their secular umbrella cover. And may be because public they have not seen much of BJP. They have yet to discover about this party.

So what will be the climax of this whole episode of 20 months of faith and 2 two days of betrayal. You predict one and it will be opposite of that.

If you want your candidate to win please go out cast your vote and take your friends also like you want them with you in all the late night parties. Please just do not wish rather do it yourself.

Arun The middle class is disillusioned with politics coz of the way political parties conduct themselves. The focus of all parties is on caste, religious and communal lines. That plus the fact that most of the politicians today have criminal records and behave little better than street thugs doesnt help matters. All the policies made today are made with vote-bank in mind, and hence the middle-class feels neglected.

Murali Give us one reason for Middle class to care for politics and politicians. They just want Middle class taxes nothing else, politicians dont care if Middle class votes or not. When they dont want our votes and dont care for us why should we care for them.

nh how will the middle class be interested in these jokers who call themselves politicians?? does anyone of the whole lot even have the capacity, the experience, the common sense that someone of their stature should actually have. and what has the govt done for the middle class till now for us to be interested in them?? there are no benefits at all, we pay the taxes promptly and how do those fools repay us, by taking taxes off our pension money as well?? voting for anyone would be a complete waste of time.
