Post the hockey fiasco, Cong, BJP gun for Gill

DRIBBLING IN PARLIAMENT: A signature campaign has been launched by MPs wanting the PM to intervene in the hockey situation.
New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan did it in reel life for the Indian Womens Hockey Team, but in real life, supercop KPS Gill failed — and failed miserably.
So feel over 100 Members of Parliament. Now there is a signature campaign being launched by ex-MP Aslam Sher Khan, wanting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to intervene in what he called "a very serious situation".
MP Aslam Sher Khan said: "All the hockey players of India have said that till KPS Gill does not resign and deserving people don't take over the Indian Hockey Federation, India's hockey cannot rise to an international level."
And that's not all. The BJP has now gone a step further.
BJP Spokesperson, V K Malhotra even went to the extent of saying that the Sports Minister, Mani Shankar Aiyar should resign.
And the Congress too, seemed peeved with KPS Gill and company.
Congress Spokesperson, Abhishek Singhvi said, "Every office bearer should improve or resign."
Politicians are now dribbling, tackling and batting for our national sport, but the stark reality is that hardly anyone of them has done much to improve the prospects of hockey in their respective constituencies.
