Pressure builds, but Hillary will fight to the finish

ENDGAME: Hillary's supporters say she is the only one who can challenge McCain in November.
New Delhi: Senator Barack Obama appears all set to clinch the nomination this week. He is expected to easily win Tuesday's primaries in South Dakota and Montana, putting him just 50 delegates short of the 2118 he needs to win the nomination.
And this is what he has to say to the people who are going to vote this Tuesday: "Are you fired up, ready to go? Are you fired up, ready to go? Let's go change the world. Thank you everybody. God bless America."
However, his opponent, Senator Hillary Clinton doesn't see it that way. Although well behind Obama, she evidently believes that with the popular vote in her favour, she owes it to her supporters to fight all the way to the Democratic Convention in August.
This is what she said to her supporters ahead of Tuesday's primaries: "Let's keep fighting for America. America is worth fighting for. Thank you and God bless and God bless America."
And those who support her say that she is the only one who can challenge Republican John McCain in November, once the presidential election kicks off.
Her backers say that she has the popular vote and if you don't give the popular vote nominee the nomination for the Democratic candidate, then the people of America are going to lose. They also don't want her to quit the race.
However, popular votes do not determine the party's nominee, which is selected by delegates at the convention. Obama's lead in delegates is unassailable unless Hillary wins nearly all the remaining uncommitted superdelegates — which is considered unlikely.
