Emmveeyem If Rahul endeavours to promote the game of Cricket in Rural Areas, beginning with his constituency, fine. But, it is strange that you expect this will give IPL a run for its money! Also, why shouldn't he promote other games like Kabbadi, Khoh Khoh, Swimming, Archery, Gilley -Danda for starters before getting on to Ball Games. The absorption levels will be high in these sports.

Prasad Rahul reminds me of Commodus from Gladiator movie. When people are so much affected due to inflation, here is trying to divert their attention by organizing these tournaments! While it's a good exposure for the players and many talent will be found ... is it really required that a politician gets himself involved in organizing such events!

Ram Nagesh Now Politicians use cricket to be in power.
In present politics, Politicians do not think of development pograms, instead they choose cricket to get the power and make people (youth) fool.
People should realize that cricket will not fetch them food, also they should teach the politicians a lesson for using cricket as their political agenda.
