Jaipur: Rajasthan police will release three-dimension computer sketches of suspects in the serial blasts case after release of seven handmade sketches failed to provide any lead to those behind the incidents.

A sketch-maker from Kolkata has reached the state capital to work on the drawings which would be finalised on Wednesday official sources said today.

"3-D sketches would be prepared whereever necessary, it could be less than seven sketches already made released based on the questioning of owners of cycle shops from where bicycles were bought on the day of explosion by terrorists to set off the blasts, they said.

Since the line drawings of sketches were hand made, it was necessary to be more precise and clear, they said.

A Special Investigation Team comprising IB, Rajasthan Crime Branch and police of Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh have so far interrogated hundreds of people but not arrested any one.

A key SIMI activist Sajjid and his three associates were detained from Sawaimadhopur district for interrogation by the Special Operation Group of the state police.
